The Colinton Amenity Association (also known as CAA) is a voluntary organisation whose main aim is to preserve and enhance the amenity of Colinton. It was founded in 1927. Over the years, varied threats to the amenities of Colinton have not abated and this has ensured the continued need for a thriving Association, which seeks to discharge its objectives effectively.

The Association acts as a quasi Community Council and its work is undertaken by an Executive Committee who are elected by members of the Association at its Annual General Meeting. Executive Committee members are elected for periods of time specified in the Association's Constitution.
