Although established primarily to "preserve and enhance" the amenity of Colinton district in so far as the sustainable development of the City of Edinburgh permits", the role of a body such as Colinton Amenity Association (CAA) perforce develops and adapts over time and as circumstances change.

CAA is run by an executive group composed of both working and retired members of the community who have knowledge and expertise in many relevant areas.  That isn't to say we have all the expertise within the group that we might consider necessary to carry out the various  function performed by the Association, and indeed we are continually looking for new blood to help review and maintain the amenity of the district.
