The current membership now stands at 53 life members, 490 annual individual members and 5 business members. A total of 548 members altogether.
We welcome renewal by Standing Order as well as by cheque.
To set up standing orders, the CAA member has to complete a standing order mandate and send it in to their bank; or if they do online banking, then a standing order mandate form can be filled in there.
This is a remarkably easy way to ensure your CAA Membership can be kept up to date. All that is needed is the following information. Online or on paper:
Payee name: Colinton Amenity Payment reference: Sort code: 83-19-01 Account number: 00125283 How often: yearly Date of first payment: 01 05 2010 Amount of first payment: £5.00 Date of ongoing payment: (leave blank) Amount of ongoing payment, if different from above: (leave blank) Until further notice: Yes (payments will be made until you cancel this instruction)
Additionally if doing this on paper rather than online: To: (your bank name) Account name: (usually your name) Account number: (your bank account number) Account holding branch: (branch name) Sort code: (your branch sort code)
These details should be found on your cheques if that account has a chequebook, and maybe on your statements.
RBS standing order mandate forms can be obtained from the local branch at Bridge Road or we can arrange to email a scanned version to you if you email

The payment reference is a number that should be given out by the CAA membership secretary so that the incoming payment can be identified on the CAA bank statement and linked to the member's name(s). We plan to use the surname and then a 2-digit number. (For example the Membership Secretary's would be PATERSON01). So, any member intending to pay by standing order will be given their reference number and have its relevance explained. The CAA name is truncated to Colinton Amenity as there is a maximum of 18 characters including spaces.
