Householder Permitted Development Rights | Print |

As from 6th February 2012 there are new Householder Permitted Development Rights.

Context
Not all development needs planning permission. Some small alterations and extensions can be carried out without this. This is called ‘permitted development’.

While there will be several relaxations to what can be done to a property without planning permission, there will be more control in conservations areas so all development apart from small huts and areas of decking will require planning permission.
