At this time, it is important for those who are able to make sure that their neighbours who may need help are having that offered to them. That could be collecting groceries or a prescription or the like, or walking a dog. To that end, a group has been formed on Facebook: Colinton and Bonaly Coronavirus Local Support Network. They realise that not everyone is on Facebook, so have been dropping leaflets through the doors of the area. So far this has been primarily to the south of Colinton Village. If something similar is operating in other areas of Colinton please do get in contact to allow the broadest offers of help to be achieved.

Their Facebook page can be joined at:

Colinton Amenity Association can publicise these help groups through their website, notice boards and Facebook to help reach out to a greater audience. To contact CAA, please e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
