2019 Water of LeithColinton Amenity Association will be assisting the Water of Leith Trust on their annual clean-up of the Water of Leith and the Dell. The Colinton section (Bypass Bridge to Katesmill Bridge) is set to be cleaned up on Sunday 12 May 2019, 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Volunteers are asked to meet up by 2.00pm in the (old station) car park off Gillespie Road at the main bridge. Essential equipment:

  • Wellingtons or stout boots (or trainers if dry)
  • Old clothes, gardening gloves (some will be provided)
  • Wheelbarrows and rakes (some will be provided)
  • litter pickers and sacks (provided)
