Becoming a member of Colinton Amenity Association means joining a community of residents who care deeply about the village and want to see it flourish. Your support enables us to protect Colinton’s character, enhance its green spaces, preserve its heritage, and work with local partners to improve life for everyone who lives here.

Member involvement
All members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting, receive updates on the year’s activities, ask questions, and help shape future priorities. You’ll also receive our annual Colinton Magazine, which celebrates village life and highlights the work your membership makes possible.
At the end of financial year 2025-2026, the CAA membership stood at 20 life members, 410 annual individual members and two business members; a total of 402 members altogether.
To join CAA, please complete a membership form. We welcome renewal by Standing Order or bank transfer (BACS) for which CAA bank details can be supplied upon request.
To set up standing order please email membership@colinton-amenity.org.uk to obtain a mandate form. This is a remarkably easy way to ensure your CAA Membership can be kept up to date.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Colinton Amenity Association holds only the minimum personal information required for managing membership. This includes a member’s name, postal address, email address, telephone number, Gift Aid status, and whether the member chooses to pay their renewal by standing order.
No bank account details are held.
This information is used solely by CAA for maintaining an accurate membership list, issuing invitations to the Annual General Meeting (and any other General Meetings), and administering membership renewals. It is never shared with or disclosed to any other organisation.
All personal information is stored in password‑protected files on a password‑protected computer, with secure, password‑protected backups.
Any member may request details of the personal information we hold about them, and this will be provided within a reasonable timescale.
