Transport
Colinton Amenity Association takes the local environment very seriously and endeavors to maintain it at the highest level possible.
The Transport Committee
The Transport Committee monitors transport matters in and around Colinton, with particular attention to safety, traffic flow, congestion, parking, road condition issues, and concerns raised by local residents.
Committee members maintain regular contact with Council officers in the South West Locality Team, ensuring that transport‑related issues are raised promptly and followed up as effectively as possible.

Matters of Concern
Any concerns relating to the local environment — such as street lighting faults, potholes, blocked gullies or issues with litter bins — should be reported directly to the City of Edinburgh Council using the Report a Problem service on edinburgh.gov.uk, or by calling 0131 200 2000.
If you forward the Council’s reference number to roads@colinton-amenity.org.uk, we will add the issue to our action list and review progress with Council officers to help ensure it is resolved as quickly as possible.
Residents in the Colinton area may also wish to raise matters with the Colinton Community Council, which represents the community in formal consultations and provides an additional route for local concerns.
