​The Colinton Magazine has long been part of village life, sharing local news, community projects, stories and events from across Colinton. In 2025, the Committee agreed that the magazine would move to an annual publication, allowing each edition to capture a fuller picture of the year and the people who shape our community.

Every edition of the Colinton Magazine is preserved for future generations. Copies are held by the National Library of Scotland, the Cockburn Association and the Edinburgh Room Archives at the Central Library. This means that anyone researching Colinton's history - now or many years from now - can access past issues and explore how our village has grown and changed over time.
